HOW TO USE

INGREDIENTS

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) Lavender isn't just a pretty smell. It contains linalool and linalool acetate — compounds that insects find deeply repellent. Mosquitoes, gnats, and flies have chemoreceptors that lavender essentially jams. Meanwhile, on your skin, it's anti-inflammatory, calming, and gentle enough for the most sensitive skin. Nature built a two-for-one here — protection AND skin care in the same plant.

Lemon Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus citriodora) This is the one the CDC actually recognizes as an effective plant-based repellent. The active compound, PMD (para-menthane-3,8-diol), works by blocking the insect's ability to detect the carbon dioxide and lactic acid your body naturally emits — the very signals that tell bugs dinner is served. Neem (Azadirachta indica) Neem is ancient medicine. Used for thousands of years across India and Africa, neem contains azadirachtin — a compound so disruptive to insect biology that bugs won't even land on skin that carries it.
